Never in my life did I picture myself in a minivan! But with three kids in carseats it was inevitable. I sold our little four door Mirage and while I shopped for a new car, borrowed a friend's little two door Honda Civic--with no air conditioning. You can imagine how squished we all were... An 8 month pregnant lady, two girls in carseats and groceries!! :) But it was a huge blessing to have it.
Dad said be sure to make it a Honda or a Toyota so I shopped 'til I found one. Imagine test driving cars with two kids in carseats. I am starting to realize how hard it must be to be a single mom. The dealer I bought the van from was super nice. Imagine seeing an 8-month pregnant lady with two kids! The car..I mean the van drives wonderful. I got the girls in the van and started the a/c and Naomi said, "So this is our car? So we don't have to get in the little car ever again?" As you can imagine the girls and I are loving our new found space! Hallelujah for air conditioning!
