We went through the Phoenix Zoo gates at 7am in the morning. Victor was at his two weeks of Guard Drill so it was just me and the kids. I carried Joshua around in a backpack and the girls were both little troopers. We had a blast. We tried to be strategic and went to all the open areas first. By 10:00 a.m. it was well over 100 degrees. The zoo had little sprayers around the different exhibits to cool off. The zoo was incredible. The girls loved seeing the little baby gorilla and the giant turtles. We went to a petting zoo and the girls spent at least an hour brushing the goats and the sheep. At 11 we went to a little spray area and the girls got to put on their bathing suits and get wet. After that we rode the carosel and headed home. It truly was a perfect day at the zoo.Note: When we left the zoo it was 115 degrees outside!!!
