Victor has been against me cutting Joshua's hair from the start--so while he was gone at camp I thought I'd better get some practice in.It's not that bad for a first. I tried to mimic the hairdresser (our neighbor Dawn) who usually cuts his hair. She had given me some pointers as she cut his hair the last few times. I used a number 2 on the sides and then with my new haircutting scissors I trimmed the top, the sides and the back. When his hair was completly dry the back end stuck out a little. I asked Dawn what the trick was to getting that part to stay down and of course she said, "nothing, you've cut it too short in the back and it won't lay down flat." So my next course of action was to take a number 7 and get it all even.
Well you got to practice while they're little when they don't know what a bad job you're doing.
He's so cute--no bad haircut can change that right?

I think it looks good Ann. I have not been daring enough to do it myself with Sammy, but I plan to soon. Now is the best time to learn, no friends of his to be embarassed in front of and if you really mess up you can just buzz it and say it is a military cut like daddy. ;)
Very good! See, they really don't lnow what's going on and what's Victor going to do from so far way? i think you did a great job!
