Joshua's stay at the Hospital

When we got back from our trip to Utah Joshua started getting a cough. I didn't think much of it because he's gotten coughs and they went away in a few days. On Friday 5/16 I decided to just run him over to the doctor's office before the weekend and just get him checked out. As soon as the doctor checked him she said we'll get him on a breathing treatment right away but if his oxygen levels don't come up will send you over to the Emergency Room in the ambulance. Yikes! The breathing treatment did help so instead of sending us to the ER in the ambulance she said I could drive over in our car. They sent us right in and had Joshua on oxygen. They gave him an IV, they really dug the needed around to get it in his wrist. Poor little guy. He was exhausted and fell asleep. They took x-rays and found some pnemonia. He had breathing treatments and antibiotics. He was not a happy camper and it took quite a bit to keep this little kid in the hospital bed. Our only salvation was "Dora the Explorer". Joshua has never been interested in any TV program. He had a TV in his room and we thought we'd try Dora. Well, we were in the hospital for two days and watched that DORA video at least 50 times. As soon as it was over he wanted to watch it again.
By his follow up appointment on Tuesday he was fine.
