Twilight Series

I had heard of the "Vampire" books and just didn't get excited about reading them. When my Sisters Sam and Katherine told me they stayed up all night to finish them--I was convinced to try them.
I borrowed the first two from a friend on Tuesday, read the third on Thursday and went by her house on Friday to pick up the fourth! No, I didn't get much done around the house and I'm pretty sure Joshua watched 5 hours of Dora the Explorer one of those days!!

DON'T READ ON IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE BOOKS!!
...............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Yes, the first book was great--the second okay---the third book was the best. The sexual tension seriously got my heart racing.
The fourth book---a disappointment. The beginning was amazing. I was so excited for them to get married and be on their honeymoon....Edward was so set on keeping Bell human and it was obvious in the beginning of the fourth book that they could have it all and she could stay human. The baby thing was too weird--I was a little excited at first thinking the baby would somehow make it possible for Edward to return to his former self--the key to changing Vampires back. Then the book kept going on about the pregnancy, drinking the blood (I almost put it away once I hit the middle and it was still about the pregnancy). Bell turning into a vampire was a big disappointment. The last part was interesting how it all worked out--and of course Edward and Bella at the end was wonderful. I truly believe there had to be a better ending.
Was it worth reading--yes, once. Someone should write the fourth book (alternative ending). I can't see them making movie four--it would be like "Rosemary's Baby" AHHHH!
