A Magical Fourth of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July. We went over to Pioneer Park around 11:30 a.m. where the City of Prescott had a carnival going. The kids went down water slides, rode horses, drank lemonade and made crafts! Naomi has such an adventurous spirit---she rode the bull and did some bungee jumping. Josh slept in the stroller for 2 hours which was nice because we had to wait in line for some of the rides. It was hot!!! When we left at 4:30 p.m. all the kids were exhausted. We went home, took baths and relaxed. The fireworks started at 9:00 p.m and the kids loved them. When they finished Joshua kept saying "more, more."

We woke up early the next morning to see the Parade. We arrived at 8:45 a.m. for the parade at 9:00. Luckily we found a spot with some shade. We watched the parade until 11:00 a.m. and it was still not over!!! The kids weren't having anymore fun so we left early.

All in all a great 4th. We all missed our daddy! He'll be home on the 11th!!

You braved the park?? I can't bring myself to do that, maybe it's the thought of the heat, the stroller and my crazy 3 year old that will just RUN off where ever he wants! Maybe later when they can carry their own water bottles, or even drive themselves? I'm so bad.
